According to Chinese media IT Home, Chinese embodied AI startup Symbiosis Robotics not only released a demo video on the 17th showing a bipedal humanoid robot driving a go-kart and racing on a closed course but also launched its official website.
The video shows a humanoid robot walking to the go-kart, getting into the driver's seat, placing its hands on the steering wheel and its feet on the pedals, and racing against other go-karts on a closed course.
This marks the first time since the company's establishment that it has systematically demonstrated progress toward achieving "full-body intelligence" for bipedal humanoid robots. The company revealed that this car race is merely the first public test, and that it will announce more cases in the future focusing on mobile manipulation, high-precision visual alignment, contact force control, and long-term tasks.
