iQiyi recently released its "International Edition 2026 First Half Global Content Popularity Ranking." In the first half of this year, the platform's total views increased by over 130% compared to the same period last year, with Chinese-language long-form and short-form dramas becoming the main content consumption genres for overseas viewers.
Topping the popularity ranking for long-form dramas was the historical drama "Zhu Yu: The Jade Master," starring Zhang Linghe and Tian Xiwei, which became a hit this spring. Following at second place was the comedic time-travel historical drama "Cheng He Ti Tong," starring Wang Churan and Cheng Lei.

Third place went to the romance drama "Ya Xi," starring Chen Xingxu and Lu Yuxiao. Fourth place was the xianxia fantasy "Jia Ou Tian Cheng," starring Allen Ren and Wang Helun, and fifth place was the historical drama "Yi Xiao Sui Ge," starring Li Qin and Chen Zheyuan.

In sixth place was last year's talked-about work, "Falling in Love (Ai Ni)," starring Zhang Linghe and Xu Ruohan. Zhang Linghe had two works selected in the top 10, demonstrating his high popularity overseas.

Seventh place was the fantasy historical drama "Xiao Yao," starring Tan Songyun and Hou Minghao. Eighth was the romance drama "Mi Yu Ji," starring Wallace Chung and Zhu Zhu. Ninth was "Shuang Gui," starring Yu Shuxin and He Yu, and tenth was the grand historical drama "Jia Ye," starring Yang Zi and Han Dongjun. (Mathilda)
